ON-CAMPUS PARENT WEEKENDS
Three special on-campus parent weekends are First Year Orientation, Junior Parent Weekend, and Commencement Weekend.
Football Weekends
Football weekends often provide opportunities to spend time on campus with your student. The Ticket Office designates two games for parent tickets each season. Current parents receive a special ticket application for these two games.

First Year Orientation
Bringing your student to Notre Dame as they begin their college career is an exciting and full weekend. Coordinated by First Year of Studies and the Office of Student Affairs, the weekend involves Office of Student Affairs residence hall activities, First Year of Studies academic orientation, Campus Ministry’s special Mass for students and parents, and the Athletic Department's program Spirit of Notre Dame. The Parents Program and the Alumni Association provide hospitality and support at locations throughout the campus.
Junior Parent Weekend
Each year in February, the junior class celebrates a weekend with parents. The events include the opening gala, the Mass and President’s dinner, and the closing brunch. Each college arranges special events for its students and their parents.
Commencement
The tremendous support you have given your student is culminated in Commencement Weekend. Coordinated by the Registrar’s Office, go to commencement.nd.edu to get all the details on the weekend, including dates, tickets, housing, and parking.
